  • Design Your Own Mini-Cruiser Skateboard Deck

Create a one of a kind graphic for the BoardPusher.com mini-cruiser shape. This deck is perfect whether you’re cruising down the sidewalk or ripping through ditches. Also portable, it’s easy to stash away when you get to your destination. Try designing one with your own custom graphic here. Make it a complete and slap some 60 or 65s on it to avoid those pesky cracks.

  • BoardPusher Texas Detour Tour

    elpaso_email_graphic4

Last year, the BoardPusher crew designed a few skateboards, packed up some camping gear, and loaded a couple of trucks ready to head through the mountains of Colorado. Unfortunately, the Rocky Mountain weather wasn’t cooperating. As we scrambled to put together a new route, we set our sights on a much clearer and dryer path to El Paso, Texas. We had our good buddy and filmer Nathan Minatta of Skeptic Productions along for the ride and here’s what was captured.

  • BoardPusher Art Director’s Street Art Piece Spotted

Looks like Ben Raybourn was in El Paso about a week after we were, so there’s a video on The Berrics of him shredding a street art piece our very own BoardPusher.com Art Director painted at the Van Buren ditch. Keep an eye out for the wild boar at around 4:40. The city of El Paso has since buffed it out.

  • How To Go from Sketchbook to Skateboard

    sketchbook_graphic_blog_600

Check out this video on how to turn your sketchbook drawings into your next sick skateboard graphic using BoardPusher.com. Below, we have some detailed instructions on how you can accomplish this yourself.

    • Many printers come with a scanner these days. While our first inclination is to press our faces against it and send the images to our bosses, the scanner is also the perfect size to scan pages from your sketchbook
    • Most skateboard graphics are designed at around 9 x 33 inches at 300 dpi.
    • Make a 3 x 11 inch area for your graphic in your sketchbook.
    • Since your image will be three times smaller than a typical skateboard graphic size you will need to scan your image at 1200 dpi.
    • Use the scanner input settings to adjust contrast and colors.
    • Try to only select and scan the 3 x 11 inch area
    • Save the file as a .jpg.
    • Go to BoardPusher.com.
    • Choose your deck size.
    • Upload your  scanned image.
    • *Expand and rotate your graphic to fit the deck*It is important to remember that your image was scanned at 1200 dpi. If it is not or you are working with a different graphic that was not scanned at 1200 dpi then expanding the image will create pixelation and your graphic will come out blurry.
    • Save your skateboard graphic to your profile so that you can order it as often as you like. Don’t have a profile? Not a problem. Make one. It’s free.
    • Add your deck to your cart and order your own customized skateboard graphic ready to destroy and display.

Not too long ago, BoardPusher.com set across the Southwest with team riders Levi Huffman, Mitch Schmidt, and Lee Wilson with Nathan Minatta of Skeptic Productions along for the ride to capture the road life. We hit up skateparks, street spots, and got in some ditch skating as well as other good times from Colorado Springs down to Albuquerque and back. Nathan put together 4 sick edits with music from DJ Largechild and you can check out the entire journey below.

You probably saw that we posted videos featuring BoardPusher team riders from the Go Skate Day Video Edit Battle that we proudly sponsored along side So Gnar and Wahoo’s Fish Taco. We recently were able to track down the other entries and thought we’d share with you some of the other sick skating that went on in Denver that day. All of these videos were shot and edited in their entirety on Go Skateboarding Day. There are a few videos missing so, keep checking back as we will continue to add them to this post when we come across them (if you know where we can find one of the other entries, please direct us to it). Thanks to everyone who participated and we hope you enjoy!
