Design Help

The BoardPusher Deck Generator currently accepts images in JPEG and PNG formats. If you want to have transparent images, you have to use PNG. The best way to get high quality decks is to design them in a program like Adobe Illustrator or Fireworks, and then upload your design to the Deck Generator. Full bleed for all decks is 9 x  33 inches at 150 DPI or above.

Accepted Image Formats JPEG, JPG, and PNG
Min DPI (anything under will be resized) 150 DPI
Full Bleed Size (for all deck sizes) 9 x 33 Inches
Min Size for Full Bleed 1350 x 4950 pixels

If none of this makes any sense to you, don't worry you can pretty much upload any image you want (as long as it is JPEG or PNG format), and you can easily add text through the Deck Generator.

Deck Templates. If you wish to upload full bleed designs, you can use the templates below to know exact size and truck placement for each deck shape. Minimum resolution allowed is 150 DPI, suggested resolution is 300 DPI. To download a template, right click on a link and select "Save Target As".

Deck Size Jpg Png
7.25/Mini 150 DPI - 300 DPI 150 DPI - 300 DPI
7.5 Inch 150 DPI - 300 DPI 150 DPI - 300 DPI
7.62 Inch 150 DPI - 300 DPI 150 DPI - 300 DPI
7.75 Inch 150 DPI - 300 DPI 150 DPI - 300 DPI
7.87 Inch 150 DPI - 300 DPI 150 DPI - 300 DPI
8 Inch 150 DPI - 300 DPI 150 DPI - 300 DPI
Old School 150 DPI - 300 DPI 150 DPI - 300 DPI

Don't put anything important right on the edge of the board in the Deck Generator (e.g. If you want your name in small print on the very bottom of the deck, it could get cut off if you don't leave some room on the edge). The board size in the Deck Generator is approximate and the graphic can shift slightly in printing.

If you want a graphic to print to the edge of the deck make sure to extend it a bit over the edge in the Deck Generator to give it a bleed for printing . Again, the board size in the Deck Generator is approximate and the graphic can shift slightly in printing. If you upload a full bleed image to cover the whole deck that is 9 x 33 Inches, the Deck Generator will automatically give it the correct bleed.

Never enlarge a photo or other Jpeg graphic to be larger than it's original size in your graphics program. This can cause the final graphic on your deck to print out pixelated or blurry. While the deck generator will not allow you to enlarge an image to be less than 150 DPI(Dots Per Inch), the Deck generator has no control over what the quality of the image is at 150 DPI when you uploaded it.
